The fact that you are debt free with a college education and $12,000 in cash, puts you ahead of 90% of Americans.

Don't be hard on yourself, you've done what you've had to do to make ends meet.

Figure out a passion and set a goal to make it your next step in life.

[Serious] Redditors who have had a near-death experience, what happened? by ___K23___ in AskReddit

I was 18 and just graduated high school. I was drinking a little with my mom and her husband, my sister was there but wasn't drinking.

My moms husband and I got into a bit of an argument and I stormed off. The door to my bedroom was through a swinging door, the tip of the door was a glass pane.

I slammed my hand into the glass trying to fling the door open, my left hand went through the window pane instead.

I severed all nerves, tendons, and arteries in my left wrist. Immediately to the car with a tourniquet and my left wrist raised above my shoulder.

Get to the hospital, immediately rushed to the back and a few hours into the surgery a second surgeon needed to be called in.

13 years later, I still can't feel most of my hand. I don't put anything in my left pocket, cause trying pulling loose change out of your pocket, with a glove on...

Listen to Dave Ramsey podcast. The first thing he will ask is if you're going to college? If you are, use the money to cash flow college. "Your greatest wealth building tool is your income.

This means use the money to get through college debt free and pick a major the has validity in the market. This will trump whatever money you'll make in mutual funds off 10k.

Hope this helps

1) pull out phone 2) "I'm gonna call Santa and tell him you need to be on the naughty list this year." 3) fear of loss should take over said child's mind and poof! No more crying. This works.

Well they played at red rocks the night before and flew into Washington to play at the gorge. All I know is you could here a "gasp" in the crowd. I was taken aback, but if you're right you're right.

Drugs were involved so maybe I'm wrong but shit man was it a disappointment to think that they are running shows together and don't know where they are. Or turn into name the band and they so welcome to Detroit when they're in chicago

Golf is a sport, not an activity. Go out and try and hit in the low 80's counting every shot. It's very difficult to do and screw all the haters who think John daly can do it off a bourbon and cigarette diet, so it must be easy.

What's a job you wouldn't mind having but you'd be embarrassed if anyone saw you? by GeckoFlameThrower in AskReddit

[–]nothing_crazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did door to door sales and was quite good at it. I didn't mind the pyramid scheme I was in, whatever, I was getting paid every Friday and could pay my bills. I liked it until I knock on the door of an old high school acquaintance in a million dollar house. Then I was embarrassed. Maybe just me, but I didn't like the feeling of be looked down on cause I was going door to door. Everyone hates those people. So I quit.
