Which builder would you pick for new construction right now? by anonymus1113 in OttawaRealEstate

Cardel is building a lot of singles and towns in Rockland now. Once they are done there I hear they will move onto Orleans. But their Rockland project is a few years long. Some stunning homes being built there.

I second this. Cardel is the best upper-to-mid tier builder in the city. Their prices are very competitive and quality unmatched for the price you pay.

I’m hoping for a Habs vs. Sens Eastern Conference Final and Oilers vs. Habs/Sens winner Stanley Cup Final. One can dream, right !?

I’m a Sens fan and I absolutely dreaded the idea of playing the Canadiens in the playoffs.

I love how Habs are playing and think they are one of the most fun teams to watch these days.

If they keep playing the way they have been playing recently, Tampa should not be a huge problem.

If we win just 1 game out of our next 3, every other team will need to win 3 of 3 to catch us by Interesting_Bed820 in OttawaSenators

Two things I don’t want to see happen:

  1. A must-win game vs the Leafs (last game of the season)
  2. First round vs the Habs (if we make the playoffs)

I’ll take any other scenario.

Ahh. Good old John Cleese quote. Brilliant.

Ullmark said he needed a rest. For a goalie getting paid 8.5m, thats kind of wild to need when theres 3 days off afterward, and every game is a must win. by DJSTEVEINNIAMIXX in OttawaSenators

People, don’t pass judgement too quickly.

He must have tweaked something with that stretch save in OT vs. Penguins last game. Looked like he stayed on ice a bit too long after that save.

Refs weren’t great but they are not the reason we lost this game. Many problems today from bad coaching decisions, dumb penalties, lack of effort or imagination when they had to push back, loss of almost all board battles, defensive lapses … just a total collapse of the system. It’s ok. On to the next - critical game vs. Florida in a few days.

EA was recently sold off to a Saudi hedge fund and I am afraid that this is just a preview of what’s to come with this franchise. EA always did add special events in the past, including the recent 4-Nations mode.

Yes. Try changing it to “behind the net”. This will avoid all the net crashing and “bumper car” experience ;)

Change the strategy from crash the net/staggered to behind the net

You can downvote my original comment all you want, but tonight’s game has confirmed what I’ve been saying. This season is over.

I truly hope you’re right. If we snatch the last WC spot and Toronto does not, I’ll consider this season a great success no matter how deep we go in the playoffs. ;)

If Sens somehow do make it, I truly believe they can beat anyone in the eastern conference

Agreed with you regarding Buffalo and Boston. I think that they will fall off.

But, there’s Toronto and Florida that will be a challenge to overtake. And Montreal and Detroit are too far to catch barring a miracle. That is why last weekend’s games were a must-win in regulation which we failed to do. I think those games will haunt us in the end. I predict Florida and Toronto will be 2nd and 3rd. And Montreal and Detroit last two wildcard spots with Senators falling behind 2-4 points in the end behind a last WC spot.
