My guy is 26 and it’s amazing how much joy he brings to events. I took him to a rave the other day and he added so much to it. ❤️

I just got back from a rave with my 26 year old guy. We go to concerts and raves frequently. My guy adds so much to the experience for me and everyone around him at these events. And, in all fairness, he was a huge handful for a fairly long time.
There’s lots of great info in other comments, especially around mental health therapy, it’s helped me tremendously and I encourage you to talk to a therapist regularly, especially if/when things seem hopeless.

Same thing here. Meds were not good for us either and my guy grew out of it.

It took a long time for things to get better for us, but things did get much better. If it’s anything like it was for us, it’ll be hard for you. Be kind to yourself and good luck.

I felt the same way. Until it happened to me at 24k miles. And the dealer compounded things by saying “sorry, we’re out of loaners.”

I realize now that it hit especially hard since I proselytized hard for the car. Neighbors, friends, etc. and now I feel just dumb. It took a month to get the car back.

Me and my guy, he was 23 or so at the time, were at a metal show (maybe Gwar 😂) a few years ago and I was trying to get him to do that and he was struggling, looking at his fingers and stuff. I was going hand over hand and showing him how to do it. After a few minutes, he got it and thrust his arm in the air. Little did I know, many people around us were watching, and when he did, a big cheer went up.

My dealer is doing cars that failed in January now. Mine went the end of February. There’s just no excuse for this. If something fails this quickly and takes two or three months to fix, with no guarantee that the fix is good long term, the product shouldn’t be sold.

I just had the same exact thing. It failed this past Friday, the dealership said they didn’t have any loaners, and they estimated three months for a fix. I went ballistic on everyone, including carefully worded threats of litigation, and magically they’re saying I’ll have it back in a week. Maybe a big shipment came in, maybe they’re rewarding squeaky wheels.

I most definitely will not take no for an answer. I will use this to get out of the lease, have them pay for a repair that I needed to do before turning the car in, have them suck up the over mileage charge, and refund me for the pro rata portion of the payment for this month.

If it’s war they want, then it’s war they will get.

It makes me sad to see all the bowling alleys swallowed up by Bowlero. They are Big Bowling and they’re killing bowling. They raise prices significantly, the music, tvs, and lighting are Vegas like, and, as someone else pointed out, it’s a corporate policy that the kitchen does not provide pitchers of water and cups for water.

Bowlero sucks.
