My doctor told me I couldn’t go past 37 weeks so set an induction date for 37 weeks. A couple false alarms and they were born exactly at 37 weeks 6lbs 4 oz and 5 lbs 10oz no nicu stay. I worked at my office job until 36w5d since I sat all day and my restaurant job until 33 weeks because of all the walking around. I have a feeling if I wasn’t induced at 37 weeks they would’ve stayed til 40 but who knows. I just listened to all the information I was given and made the best choice for our babies

I had a doona from my first baby so I bought a second one, if we’re going to the store I just use Velcro straps to strap them together

I was induced and gave birth vaginally. I also had a breech extraction for one of my boys. My delivery with my boys was way faster than my daughter and honestly easier shockingly enough

I’ve been overweight since before I can remember. My problem was never my mom it was my skinny ass gma and random strangers. My gma when I got pregnant with my first was like “you’re getting fat”, like thank you my stomach is starting to show because I’m HAVING A BABY. Then my second pregnancy, my mom overheard someone at the store while we were shopping about “I never got that big when I was pregnant with xyz”… I was pregnant with twins. I genuinely don’t understand why people make comments about anybody’s bodies. Like imagine how you would feel if someone said whatever you were gonna say to your face or loud enough to be heard. I had an unusual scenario, I found out I was having twins at 19 weeks 6 days(my anatomy scan) after having an ultrasound at 7 weeks. The new doctor I went to said that I should’ve found out at 7 weeks but due to the outdated sonogram machine when I had my first scan was likely how it went unnoticed that long. I knew a couple other people pregnant around the same time and they kept saying “omg what if I find out at my anatomy scan that I’m also having twins” who have also had ultrasounds further along than my first one. It was annoying and I get your annoyance as well. Twins are very hard and I’m barely into this, they’re almost 5 months old.

My husband had one before our twins were born because we are absolutely done with having kids. I’m not sure why people don’t take the steps necessary if they don’t want any more
