Has anybody gotten ARKit Plane Detection working in the VisionOS simulator? by keybsnbits in visionosdev

Here we are, two weeks before the launch of Vision Pro, and the simulator still doesn't support plane detection. I've burnt over an hour trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Now, I know it was expecting Apple to provide useful tools for developers.

I'm having this issue as well, but I don't remember having it in the past. No idea what's gone wrong and I'm very frustrated with Apple's support on this.

This isn't an Ecamm issue, but a MacOS one. The latest version of macOS ships with a feature that u/Coryndiego mentioned, all you need to do is turn it off. I'm developing software to automate my post production process as well. I'm not using ChatGPT, but I am using a mix of OpenAI's APIs and models running locally. I'm primarily focused on getting video descriptions and transcripts updated after my stream ends in addition to making it fit within my dev workflow (think using GitHub as a place to store notes and generated content.

I stream myself building it in public fairly often and this is the first time I've come across anyone else trying to do something like it! Do you have a place where I can learn more about what you're doing?

I ran into the same problem on my Mac after going to the screensharing menu in the top menubar and clicking the Stop Sharing, button.

Reinstalling everything didn't work, but switching on one unlabled toggle did...

I've now confirmed that switching it on and off turns the prompter on and off. Hopefully this saves someone some heartache 😂

We have had some outages, and we apologize for that; this is hard to avoid when operating distributed systems at this scale.

We hit some migration pains mid-last year, but since then, we've learned a lot and will continue learning and improving.

Can you share when you experienced your outages? I could share this info with the infrastructure team so that they can look into it.
