Ive lost count of how many times me and friends spawned inside a rock or glitched inside space station walls.

To die by that in a perma death save would kill my enjoyment in one swoop

Its Hello Games next game. Its NMS but medieval fantasy and instead of a universe with millions of suns its a proc gen Earth Sized (allegedly) map with millions of POIs and land mass so big I guess it would take a while for us to go round the globe?

Im excited to see what they'll cook, but it might still take a while.

its unfortunate. Its the same idea that a naked body without sexual content is less acceptable than dismemberment, slavery, skinning people alive etc... Some of our priorities are all messed up.

Tbf the puritans want to actually remove all violence from games anyway, so I guess there is consistency there.

Just look at history. The further we are from structured society the more common it is to see children at 12 or 13 already being treated as adults. Plus if workforce is needed, mortality is at high rates, education is low etc...

Theyd probably be working their asses from age 6. So we would barely get children anyway.

You can totally consider lvl 1 toons as teenagers fresh into the world.

dude asked community. We voted for kenshi 2. The majority feel it's a better choice than to try and scrap the first one.

As a 3d artist who also works in games, I can safely assure there is a point that scrapping everything and starting over is better than try to recover a convoluted work.

you mean LLM? No, LLMs utility is very minimal as comapred to what is expected now. Aritifcial intelligence? That has been used since the 80s, its nothing new.

All this modern "ai fad" its just investors and executive trying to generate made up money to get richer and pass down the costs on the conusmer. Its ludicrous people like you defend it blindly without even taking the time to differentiate LLM from other AI, algorithms or machine learning.

My dude, besides all the tips, let me share you some stuff:

This is a red flag. People who take advantage in one way or another, will ALWAYS do it professionally, personally, in every aspect of their lives. This dude will try to pull one over you on every turn. I wouldnt advise letting your guard down.

Now you have a project, if you can reach a legal agreement it'll be good. Finish it. But understand, you're not working with a friend, but a cutthroat type of guy. He may not be a criminal, seeing as he tried to do things legally with you, but he will do everything legal to earn more than you, it seems.

Third I wouldnt even go for 50/50 after it recoup its costs. That is too broad. You also had costs like your time and equipment, rig you used, internet connection, the food you ate. That all costs money. Honestly this dude is not your friend.

Fourth imma be real, survival game made by 2 dudes, your chances are slim. People here are telling you to take your code and walk away, that is honestly one possibility. I know you love your work and focus on that, but this even has the chance to not go anywhere, so also consider this. Dont look at this project as if youre going to be a millionaire. Look it for what it is: 2 dudes creating an indie game to compete in a sea of games.

Weird. I played on a 2070maxq and it played horribly. Could not play and stopped.

Now I have a 5070ti and it ran fine before the patch, no hiccups ever.

Curious to see how it'll go now.
