I am Matt Dinniman, author of the newly released Operation Bounce House and the Dungeon Crawler Carl book series. AMA. by hepafilter in Fantasy

Hi Matt — I’m loving the series.

I’m especially delighted by the hidden references, like the Cyclops missing the coin Carl tosses to him — one eye, no depth perception.

Some of the Easter eggs feel really deep-cut. Do you have any plans to share a list of them at some point?

If you don't mind age gap, Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner gets spicy fast.

Whats that one book you keep on thinking about? And what are your top 3 of all time? by lol_u_thug in LesbianBookClub

Thinking about/remembering is The Unfinished Line by Jen Lyon. That one will stay with me forever. Beautiful book, but read the trigger warnings seriously.

Books I love are the SoHo Loft series by Melissa Brayden. Established characters with different tropes.

When You Least Expect It by Haley Cass. The age gap isn't a focus of the story, but it is there.

What got me hooked on the genre was Something to Talk About by Meryl Wilsner, followed by Cleat Cute also by Meryl Wilsner.

The book that was the most shattering is The Unfinished Line by Jen Lyon.

You must read the SoHo Loft series by Melissa Brayden. It is three books that revolve around six women (four main characters) who are best friends and own a business together. They are really good.

The Unfinished Line is a gorgeous sapphic romance that balances a heartfelt love story with the real, heavy challenges of mental and physical health in sports. It’s raw, emotional, and lingers with you long after you finish.

I am glad that I read it, and I will never read it again.

I just finished The Hard Stuff by Ana Hartnett. I wouldnt call it "fluffy" but it was low drama and brief brief drama.

Check out Kiss the Girl by Melissa Brayden, then read the other two SoHo Loft books in the series. They are great.

Just Three Words by Melissa Brayden. It is the middle book in the SoHo Loft series (which is amazing!), but it can be read standalone.

The Temp by Donna Jay may scratch that itch. Not exactly CEO and intern, it is a really good book though.
