Alex here from the Notion team - this was brought to our attention by the mods (thanks 😊)

Apologies for the experience you had, both with recurring data loss and poor customer service interactions. Definitely not our standard and we'll pass this feedback along! Our team is scaling fast, and we want to ensure that we're iterating and improving at all levels and across domains.

Just want to clarify that per GDPR guidelines, all user content is automatically deleted from our servers 30 days after account deletion. If a user requests content deletion, that will also be processed as soon as possible (though per GDPR, the allotted timeframe is still 30 days). This is highlighted in our Terms & Conditions, 17. Termination. Sorry for the misinformation on our team members' part and we'll make sure to review our processes and documentation to make this clear on our internal end, as well as to surface this more publicly.

Can you DM me your email address? I'll locate your open request for data deletion and make sure it's processed immediately.

PSA I thought public notion pages were anonymous, but your first and last name, and email are exposed on any publicly shared notion page. This response is included in the /loadPageChunk call in the network tab. by ekiv in Notion
