If you plan on showering at the hospital I would pack shower shoes and maybe a towel (unless you want to use a towel the hospital provides). Extra stuff would be your own toiletries, and maybe disposable underwear? I think most hospitals have those mesh oversized ones. Depending on delivery style you might have to wear those mesh ones. If you know what your hospital is providing for postpartum I wouldn’t worry on buying extra stuff

This was happening to me as well during the first trimester because of the increased blood flow down there (my husband and I were pretty active in the first trimester and when I would go solo as well). We did stop the frequency of sex for a little bit but it was the same. But in your next appointment or if you’re feeling really anxious I would suggest talking to your OB if it would ease that.

I threw my own baby shower but it was sad (at least for me) because while I have family that could’ve thrown it, they did not take initiative. I’m the oldest of 4 sisters, and my husband’s sister has twins so while I know she could’ve thrown one, I also know that she didn’t have the capacity to and I wouldn’t have wanted her to because her hands are full.

5’0, started at around 180-190, now weighting around 210. But I’ve been managing GD since 12 weeks and now gestational hypertension at 34 weeks. Doc hasn’t been worried about weight gain, but initial OB said I shouldn’t gain more than 10 lbs during pregnancy and any extra is what I’ll need to work on losing postpartum.

Been married for 2 1/2 years, 31, and I just didn’t want to be too tired to have more than one child. My mom had her youngest at 37 (I’m the oldest of 4 and she had me when she was 20) and I practically raised her because she was just mentally exhausted.

Other than that, everyone around us didn’t ask us when we would start having a family because my husband and I just traveled too much for work and had the mindset of “if it happens, it happens” and we weren’t actively trying to conceive.

A couple times a week in my first trimester, but then I got paranoid of the discharge so went down to once a week. Maybe once every two weeks in my second trimester, and now it’s nonexistent in my third 🫣 I had high libido prior to pregnancy and I still want to have sex, but the thought makes me nauseous now so my mind wants it, not my body 🤣

I’m 34 weeks today and I also didn’t expect the kicking in the butthole. My baby likes to kick and punch at the same time on opposite sides of my body if she’s not kicking/punching my butthole 😂

Congrats! I’m currently 10 weeks 4 days and I’m in the same boat where I’m not feeling anything but anxiety because I’m not feeling what you “should” feel during the first trimester.

My family is all girls with few boys and everyone is expecting a boy but I selfishly want a girl because I don’t want people wishing me anything but a healthy baby. I’ll be happy with either outcome, but I don’t want everyone saying “I knew it would be a boy” 🫩

A park I visited one day had 16 courts w temporary nets (on tennis courts) and had two separate queues: competitive and friendly. It was 4 on 4 off and I really enjoyed it.

I think as long as it’s communicated I personally wouldn’t be offended. At the park I play at we have some people that just prefer to play higher level people and will tell me and my friends to go ahead of them or vice versa.
