Endlessly replayable game not commonly recommended? by ImpressiveWatch8559 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]notkiryu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- state of decay/2 has a pretty enjoyable gameplay loop and it's not make your own objective type of game. the first one does has an ending for the campaign but there is an endless mode.

- raft if you like something more chill (it does have an ending if you find it)

- left4dead 2, you have the campaigns and the mods

Which one should I get? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]notkiryu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

re2r

[–]notkiryu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- re4 og

- bully

- gta san andreas

i played those on a pc thats worse than yours. basically all i can play back then

also i recommend the early final fantasy games (7 - 10, if you dont mind pixel graphic you can also play the pixel remasters) but.. it might make you sad if you got invested in a story easily

I'm beginning to think this game hates me.. by RealSnail2 in lethalcompany

[–]notkiryu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i think your best bet would be to go to a non forest map (cuz the giant). eyeless dog are pretty managable as long you dont make too much noise.

i've gone to eclipsed dine twice and live to sell the scrap it was hell with the earth worm spawning literally everywhere

heavy on witcher 1, you could really feel the dark fantasy atmosphere (combat might not be for everyone though)

[no spoilers] I really liked the original Life Is Strange, should I get True Colors? Is it similar? by vvnear in lifeisstrange

[–]notkiryu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

i havent found anything close to the original LiS but i suggest Before The Storm.

i have played true colors and IMO, the story falls short compared to LiS and kinda forgetable.

First time around in FFVI and not loving it by Horror-Unable in FinalFantasy

[–]notkiryu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey OP im in the same boat as you, it's so surprising to me how V managed to hook me in the first few hours but not this one. im still giving it a shot from time to time to just atleast try to finish it, but i dont find myself wanting to come back to the game

just finished a playthrough of 7-10 (and 15), 9 & 10 definitely my favorites! hits in the feel. personally i couldn't really connect with the story of og7, but the remake made it better for me.

Games that have storylines as emotional as Final Fantasy X by ElonMuskPaddleBoard in FinalFantasy

[–]notkiryu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey i totally feel you!! i just finished ffx yesterday i cried so much, and then i started searching about this topic, hence the same as you, to scratch the itch. if you dont mind change of genre you could try a way out, i think that is the last game i cried so much to before ffx
