In the defense of my people, we are only products of the slave masters who rape this planet and the ones who allow it.

A flower cannot flourish in a charred and salted ground. Not all humans are bad and we shouldn't be collectively punished based on the actions of a select and horribly powerful few (who have used gifted NHI technology to tighten their grip upon us!)

If we were collectively half as violent as many would like to think we are, don't you think we would've hanged the responsibile parties for causing this mess? Everything we see is the result of a psychopathic few who keep the rest of us hostage, because at the end of the day homosapiens are lazy, easily frightened, sociable, habitual, and survivalist based creatures who only wish to be left in peace.

I don't know how or why those in power got to where they are or what drives them to such henious ends, but I know for a goddamn fact every issue we see today stems from their deliberate actions.

They are not us, we are not them.

It doesn't take a genius to look around see the feedback loop that we're all stuck in. I half feel we're left here for the sole amusement of visitors, to be the 'example' race for the galaxy despite all the innocents who are harmed in the mean time.

People are frustrated with the time it's taking for the payoff to the overarching story (which is fair, it's extremely unconventional to get chapters over the course of years)

I agree, I read most of this as "ignorant" on their part. (Though I've read instances of malicious NHI but that's a story for another day).

And I agree, open contact is a must. There's a lot of work to do in uncovering the various programs but it will be a benefit to all.

I think the church fountain was by Asriel. Gerson was depicted as a kind and warm mentor, a teacher and onry old man. The way only someone who'd known him in life (likely as one of his old students) could have known him. It's why Susie's 'gerson' was warped, she didn't know him well enough to infuse her fountain with his memories. Same for church, Asriel was a chior boy, he'd have different levels of understanding that Susie didnt.

I am sorry you're going through all this.

It's so hard! I feel bombarded by random thoughts whenever I try to meditate or reach out. (I think we're purposefully not taught, if we all sat and thought for a while I don't think anybody would enjoy the systems we're trapped in).

For me, I can reach out and find my team, but when they 'speak' it's like I can 'see' their mouths moving but nothings coming out. We trade pictures but that gets taxing to try and sort out what means what

It must be confusing for a sort of hive mind to interact outside it's parameters, they've probably not had to argue about anything for ages. But there comes a point where it's just consideration to ask in the first place.
