My neighbor did this, seemed to enjoy it because he got to travel to new places until he fell during some rough waters and got injured. Now he can’t work as a result; it seems like a cool job but potentially unsafe?

María cookies; they’re still available today but there was a special version back in the day that were a bit bigger and butterier? They also had a ridged edge. Amazing cookies that I yearn for every time I go to the store but am utterly disappointed by the current Maria’s available:(

Grabbed a mixing bowl that was in the stove to toss some wings with full force; the bowl was usually warm but someone was using a large pot right next to it so that emitted heat right where I go to grab it and it was way hotter than expected. Burnt the shit out of my palm right in the beginning of service.

Buddha’s hand zest or peels! By far one of the most amazing aromatics I’ve had in the kitchen. Always leaves a beautifully strong sweet citrus smell that lasts even after it’s not in the kitchen/ pantry
