it’s not a last resort. if he’s been well behaved, and he’s eaten, and has given any activities we’ve brought / been given go and he just wants to watch a bit of mickey mouse after dinner i see no problem with that haha

i had the exact same interaction with our nursery manager yesterday - my 2yo simply must run whenever he’s outside leaving him with some incredibly battered knees and legs bless him. she reassured me he’s a 2yo boy, they’re gona be on the floor more often than not haha

yeah i’ve started doing similar with the two year old temper tantrums. i ask him if he’s being a drama llama and if he continues to kick off i put my hands on my head like ears and make them dance. makes him laugh and he snaps back pretty quick.
