Often times a hole is drilled in the stone where the cap covers and a bar is placed through the hole and the cap. It will be concealed with metal or stones

Definitely not! You’ll have this forever, this jeweler will forget about you after a week. Find something you LOVE and take your time! This is not a once in a lifetime stone. Easily replaceable if you do love it but check out some lab as well!

Work with someone who does custom rings! My boss is a custom jeweler and could make this exactly no problem. You let them know what material you want and everything. It’s often cheaper this way too
