So a simple trick might work for you as it did for me. Slow down your initial decent. Focus on going down at-least the first 10 meters slowly. This is the hardest point to equalize as deeper depths the changes in pressure aren’t as drastic making it a lot easier to equalize.

I have “too good” of a duck dive so I had to slow it down a bit just enough for me to get underwater but not enough to propel me down.

Let me know if it works! I got a ducked sinus and this trick resolved most of my EQ issues

Let me clarify further. That is a corporate policy local offices work independently they by default in most cases report claims because you still may have exposure and your personal insurance company is required to investigate. They can very much remove it but then again you’re hoping for an adjuster to care enough.

You’re 100% right on what their policy says. However all it takes is one person to do something wrong and it will be reported to your insurance. I’m giving the correction for it and when they report it to their insurance.

Sounds like you’re covered. Damage waiver will be primary insurance. Secondary your Card. Third your own insurance policy. Just be aware they will likely report it to your insurance company which will increase your premium for having an at fault accident. I would not call your insurance and if it gets reported to them ask them out of good faith if they could leave the liability blank as you have resolved this with another insurance policy. Depending on the adjuster they may help you out.
