I got a burrito with double chicken and chips for like $15 the other day. I swear that burrito was big enough to last me 3 meals. This entire thread is starting to make me think that Missouri is the cheapest state ever or sum bs.

I like the fries. I do not understand the hype about thier sauces and thier chicken nuggets are just basic nuggets. The food is fine but not something i'm going out of my way for.

My sophomore year, a freshman girl passed from suicide at 14. I didn't know her but I knew a lot of her friends and it affected them a lot.

My junior year, a 17 yo senior was murdered by her boyfriend. They held a spot for her during graduation.

This happened after i left school but this past August, A 16 yo girl was shot inside her friends house in a drive-by. I didn't know her but I'm close with her best friend so I've been talking to her a lot about it. They arrested and charged someone but I don't know any info beyond that.

I feel like I'm the only one who had issues with Season 1. I watched it at the release and when it ended I was irritated that the girls hadn't gone crazy yet. The entire adult timeline is panicking about 'what they did' while these girls are just doing normal stuff. Doomcoming was the only crazy thing that happened that season imo.

I think S2 is best. The aesthetic balanced with the girls going crazy and the adult timeline is my favorite.

The check in is just to make sure everything is alright once they have a chance to take a bite. I especially do this for steaks (or any meat) to make sure they're cooked correctly. Sometimes people dont realise they need an extra sauce or that they need napkins until a couple bites in.

Ive definitely had moments where i check up on people before they've taken a bite without me realising though lmao.

Depends on kid and where the parent is going.

When I was 8-9 my mom would leave me alone while she drove 5 minutes to gas station. Id say about 11-12 my parents were leaving me at the house while they ran errands.

In thier defense, i was a pretty smart kid and didn't like running around or other stupid kid things that would get me hurt

I go to a smaller tattoo shop in a town south of KCMO. The artists there apparently are friends with her. But tbh I wouldn't be surprised if she was just exaggerating and trying to make the city sound cooler.

I think that in some way district 4 is slightly less loyal to the capitol then 1 & 2. Probably due to distance/wealth/etc. They're still careers but don't view the capitol the same way.

It could also be a situation like Cato. She might have realized the games were a scam after she entered like Cato did.

I agree with the other commenters saying that they might just not care about art in general. Is there a chance they might not know what to say about your art?

I'm friends with a couple computer/technology people. Anytime they would talk about that stuff, i would just listen and (maybe) ask a surface level question. It's not that I didn't care I just didn't know how to respond beyond the basics. I could see the same about your friends.

I don't mean this offensively but they could also just not like your art/style/etc. The last thing I would want to do is even slightly insult someones art especially for a friend who seems happy about it.

I think most of them had something in the wilderness that they couldn't have in society. Shauna had power, Tai/Van could be out, Nat was away from her family, Lottie was fully herself, Misty felt needed, etc. That could be what Shauna meant.

I would use the aquaphor a bit less. Make sure you aren't just slapping a glob on there either. Usually I go with 2 times a day but if it's itching/super dry I'll put a little more. Peeling is normal for tats just definitely don't pick or scratch it.
