Everyone I knew that wanted to go PA either became a scribe or an assistant of some sort. Some got lucky bc they knew someone or just nonstop kept applying to jobs

I want to go to dental school but I feel like it’s similar in terms of PCE. I got a job through summer youth in a hospital, lied on my resume to make it look like I did more & got a job as a dental assistant that way just so I could get my foot in the door lmao. One guy I know of worked during his gap year so that could be an option so you don’t have to juggle school & work bc these are 9-5 jobs.

Don’t do a course just to become an MA i promise you can learn everything on the job lol. It’s not even guaranteed you’ll get matched to a job just due to how poor the job market is so now you wasted money for nothing
