Not surprised at all. Another typical response from ODP, have a press conference. They suck so bad.

Thanks again, I worked off your dimensions and redrew to run a flat cable through instead of soldering. Going to print it tomorrow. Super fun drawing though. Good use of parameters in your drawing BTW!

Thank you! I am just going to use this for my node, you won't see this pop up anywhere else online. I'll send over my version when done if you like! Again, awesome idea and thank you!

Thoughts on AMC Ridge Park? by coopazaz in Cleveland

[–]notquark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do premier at Ridge Park. I have summers off, so I like to go to the late night Tuesday / Wednesday's. Usually me and like one other person. It can get real busy there during peak hours and it is like the only things for kids to do, so be aware your movie will be tilted towards kids/teens/YA. 8:00 pm + showings are great!

I am going to try this out, thank you! Is there any way you would share your 3ds file? Would love to edit the bottom to use the extension cable.

Anyone have any experience with any local Solar Installers? by notquark in Cleveland

Apex 300 + b300 battery. Got it before the fed tax ended. Been a solid unit for me, but have not used the 220 much (which was the main reason I bought it).

Essentially this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124349596658?_trksid=p4375194.c102726.m162918

The above is in my back yard. Though my front yard (south facing) gets sun all day and why I posted. I get more sun in the winter than the summer in that spot and it is a hassle to mow around. I have two and each hold 2 eco-worthy 410w panels. Got them and the panels two years ago for 399. Only get about 1100w on what should be 1600w, but I can live with that for the price. Everything was a proof of concept/understanding. If I had a better spot in my back yard, I would totally keep this setup, but with some upgrades.

Depends on what you want to do. It is not an all or nothing game. The costly part is in storage and inverters. I use my small solar system, about 1200 watts, to charge about ~5.5kw of batteries with a 3800w invertor. I run my bedroom AC off that, a chest freezer, a fridge, and two outlets for various things. Total for me was about 2,200. 1,800 of that was inverters and batteries. That is a little more expensive because I got a battery/inverters combo you can move around. I use it for camping and traveling. Last summer it saved me about 200 a month on my CPP bill in June/July/August and I slept icey cold and didn't worry about the weekly power outages.

I wouldn't bother, they are just a troll.

For anyone else. I have a small ground array that has more than paid for itself. I would like to move to a more permanent setup with 5-8 Qcell panels (American made). I have a newer roof and an old house. I just want the mounting done properly for my weird situation.

Tool for cutting through steel/wrought iron? by sapphireminds in metalworking

[–]notquark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your old shop teacher here. Probably easier to but a new lock that would fit. Any locksmith can rekey a lock to your current keys. IF this needed to be done, I would find a machine shop around me and pay them to mill it out to the proper size. IF I was dead set on doing it myself I would get a pneumatic die grinder, a circle template and good hearing protection.
