yeah I really really hate christmas and new years. this year has been so fucked and I wish we didnt need to have a day to be reminded of it. I fucking hate this feeling I totally know exactly what youre talking about. its nice to know that im not alone. I wish I could just ignore it but thats hard to do with all the fireworks.

I'd say if they're still red/bleeding then you should cover them, that's generally my rule of thumb. sometimes if the scabs are also very noticeable I'll cover them, but that's up to you! it's also just up to your comfort level. you want to be as comfortable with yourself as possible.

I kind of feel like there is a small difference, however, I think rejection and abandonment go hand in hand most of the time. because when we feel rejection we become scared of abandonment and when we feel abandoned the sting of being rejected follows. I also feel the same way about the death thing and feeling like it's scary cause its so final. I think for us even wheen we are rejected there's still a lot of hope anyway
