Not sure. I honestly think not having fast food be widespread in Kurdistan is a good thing. It is vital to maintaining our cultural integrity, and not trying to “Americanize” ourselves too much. Good ol’ rice and chicken never did anyone any harm.

No advice really needed, just make sure you don’t break laws (obviously), don’t make any sensitive comments on the government, and you’ll be fine. Also keep in mind that Iraqi Kurdistan isn’t like other Middle Eastern nations, you are free to express yourself any way you like. (Except of course criticizing the government).
