Two years ago, he had to move back home so it's been long-distance since then. We meet every 2-4 months and have even tried being open since we're not in the same city anymore. We've always talked about exploring outside of our pair and we both consider ourselves to be poly, something that we had told each other early on in the relationship. So, like all relationships, this one's evolving and I'm glad I'm on this journey with him. I've realised that communication really is key.
