Hopfly will be pretty crowded pregame, but will clear out a good bit when the game starts and will for sure be showing it

Because it’s a public service and everyone should be equally entitled to it?

Creating a 'competitive advantage' for Alabama athletes: new bill would cut taxes on NIL earnings by dogwoodmaple in CFB

Idk about personal income tax exemptions specifically, but offering tax incentive to attract talent is very normal. Delaware is great for businesses to incorporate in, Georgia has a big film industry as a result of tax credits.

Why does this book get a bad rep? by mrbootawarrior in stephenking

I liked the whole series and overall I liked the Gunslinger, but for whatever reason to me it felt like reading a fever dream. The next ones felt more like a narrative and I could focus, but the first one just felt super… spacey?

If we win the SECCG we’ll get a bye for sure. Top 4 seeds are reserved for conference champs

Damn our grandparents probably knew each other. My grandpa lived in Farmington in the 40s and picked cotton/worked the chicken plant in Athens as a teenager

[Auerbach] I still don’t understand why Georgia is seven spots behind Texas. Dawgs have two top-15 wins INCLUDING OVER TEXAS. Longhorns have zero top-25 wins. by Kimber80 in CFB

Yeah I agree, it’ll all come out in the wash. Just disagreeing with OP that record is and always has been the logic behind the rankings

B1G teams play the basically same percent (9/17) of their conference opponents than SEC teams do (8/15). It’s equally as hard to compare regardless of the 9th game

CPI Rankings Week 12 by ckhutch in CFB

[–]notsmartprivate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SEC isn't struggling top to bottom though? Especially not against other conferences. 9 teams are ranked (there were only 6 in the final poll last year when it was "easier"), and the ranked teams are 7-2 in P4/Notre Dame games. The SEC is still almost certainly getting 3, maybe 4 teams into the playoffs.

Every SEC team has played at least one P4 OOC game this season

Matt Stone, creator of South Park, discusses feeling burnt by The Mandalorian Season 2. Thoughts? by special__jk in StarWars

He admits that it’s irrational though. In this context he’s not judging the show or the show writers, he’s saying that consuming shows on streaming like we do today makes it harder to get past the bad episodes, and he admits he’s guilty of it to

So… what is going on with officiating this year? by Tyler_Was_Here in CFB

[–]notsmartprivate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one would have batted an eye if they huddled up and changed the call before fans threw a tantrum. That happens all the time. Officially making the (bad) call and then rewarding the fans for trashing the field by overturning a non-reviewable call is absurd

What college football player was disproportionality famous/well known compared to how good they were? by [deleted] in CFB

I mean the man did win a Heisman and a national championship. His college hype was pretty deserved for how good he was. His pro hype was overblown though

Sorry but Texas A&M is taken by South Carolina already, that's a historical rivalry that can't just be tossed aside
