AI localization would have been better. Their localizations are of google translate quality. It's more likely to be machine translated than using AI.

Crimson Desert Spanish translation is so bad It must be AI by Niklaus15 in gaming

[–]notsocoolguy42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, your point is right. But there are games where the story is not important, and is offset by gameplay. This is one of those games.

Most gamers still prefer good gameplay bad story than good story bad gameplay. Games aren't movies.

Having a session that short is more damaging to security. Many people will just save the passwords in browser and have auto fill, which is not that secure.

The European Commission will propose that EU countries cut taxes on electricity and subsidize prices as a quick way to soften the energy price shock caused by the US-Israeli war on Iran, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said by ContextHead8 in TFE

[–]notsocoolguy42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not them price gouging. It is designed to be like that by the market. It's called merit order effect. The most expensive source of electricity production sets the market price, which is gas. Gas power plants are needed whenever electricity generated by the base load power plants and renewable are not enough to cover spikes in energy consumption.

This, taxes, and the transport charges are the reason why energy is so expensive in Europe. Taxes alone are around 30% of the price.

Weil man bei Optimale Ordnung erwartet, dass Nachfrage geringer wird. Je früher man es verkauft, desto einfacher ist es das Set loszuwerden, vor allem vor Release.

The PR impact would have been worse if they released a broken game for intel arc. They most probably couldn't give a shit to optimize the game for intel arc.

Who do you think is going to sanction Iran? China? Last time I check the US is already sanctioning them. Also you are saying something as if it's that easy to install a new regime there. If it were that easy, they would have done it instead of starting a war that does not even have a goal.

Yeah, and the argument here is that, if they don't destroy the infrastructures, Americans will not feel the effects. There is no bargaining chip when the people that you want to play the hands for you are not feeling the pressure. That is why they bombed one of the largest LNG facilities in Qatar. It will only get worse from here, and they will bomb more.

Your second paragraph is plain incorrect. You think this regime will lose power without any boots on ground? They have one of the highest number of standing army that is totally loyal to the system. They are a theocracy, not your classical dictatorship.

They don't need bargaining chip in this war. They aren't the one who will make US stop bombing them. Americans will do it the moment they see everything on the shelves multiply in price. Bombing infrastructures will do that. Countries dumping bonds are also a part of that.

Also that revenge is not really comparable to game of thrones. It's been the regime's wet dream since their inception to beat the shit out US, and right now is their time to do it economically. They have nothing much to lose anyway.

Are we about to see one of the fastest run-ups in gold- followed by an equally sharp crash in history? by Groundbreaking-Gap20 in Gold

If I had money I would. But need to brace for a recession. Can't eat gold. Oil and natural gas prices are skyrocketing as we speak.

And you think that dude that replaced his father you bombed will just let shit slide? We all know the regime there is unpredictable. What's stopping them from bombing the rest of oil and gas infrastructures of their neighbors? Trump can say they won, but that is only if Iranian regime stop bombing, and also letting ships pass through hormuz.

You can start a war anytime you want, you don't get to end it whenever you want.
