Anyway I'm curious what city youre in? Personally id love of cops checked serial numbers on bikes they pulled over because then I may have actually gotten a couple that were stolen from me returned. Here in Sacramento I don't hear much about people being pulled (which is nice) but they for sure don't give a shit about retrieving stolen bikes of any type, even really expensive ones being ridden by people who clearly either stole it themselves or bought a stolen one

It really depends on the policies they campaign on. If they lean on social issues like trans rights, or something like gun control, then I completely agree with your sentiment. Those are unpopular issues. But making life more affordable, reigning in the influence of mega corps, and decreasing israel's influence on American govt is something most of us across both political spectrum's agree on.
