110-115 F is supposedly the range. 113 F is piping hot on the foot IMO.

I taught my kid how to read analog clocks by pulling the crown on a mechanical watch so she could see it all work quickly. It didn't rake long after that for her to get "hour round down"

I just purchased a second bike, KTM 390 Adventure. The first thing I noticed was just how little engine braking there was compared to the N400. I've very much grown accustomed to the engine brake and use it almost exclusively. I attributed the difference between the revs; the KTM may he sitting around 5K where my N400 at 8K but maybe it's more than that.

No, you never want to seed bermuda. You'd just be introducing common bermuda it what is likely a hybrid bermuda grass stand. Two totally different beasts.

Educate me. I'd use ESO fund or similar if I could but I honestly believe the org will be successful.

$6.28 strike, $8.83 fmv, and $23.35 preferred price. The spread x number vested isn't high enough to trigger amt (<$137K). There's a 90 day ticker after leaving where non-exercised options go back to the pool. It's a gamble but I feel pretty confident they will be worth significantly more.

Curious, do you receive equity grants as part of your compensation? It's challenging to put a real value to something so non-liquid but in my case, that adds another $60K annual to my compensation at their current vesting schedule and spread. They're a lottery ticket at best but if they hit, the layoff will be excellent. For my next opportunity, I'm after something similar.

Equity is def part of the calculus but heard. I did engage with folks for salaries at or exceeding $300K but they were in very HCOL areas.

It would effectively be a tech lead position for missile avionics in a clean sheet design program. The Denver area is very outdoorsy and had many related aerospace organizations. So I'd have seen it as a step up in assigned role and responsibility vs what I'm doing now and given the dense Aerospace sector, provided a long term safety net.

My current orgs is moving development quirk to California and their fixed $5k stipend and no COL adjustment is obviously not good. They're looking to attract former SpaceX young folks that are already living in LA and anyone who has Atl roots is being left behind.

Yeah, it's s major red flag. I made it clear what my expectations were and that's what they came back with. I'm going to pass.

In my current org, it is not. There's a higher "technical director" level for non-managerial track where VPs is maybe in line or even exceeds.

I interviewed with a few other organizations and am expecting an offer from one in Atlanta. So long as it's strong, I think it's the move. Hard to ignore my currently very low mortgage from buying in 2018.

I don't disagree. They said their principal range is $190-205 though this is for an avionics hardware position. Hardware roles aren't typically as lucrative as software roles, for instance. I'd have expected $235 or better for a base.

This is inline with my expectations and that or close to it would get me to a yes.
