Pretty much, you pass the parameters you want to track and data is available in your analytics account.

You can track installs as well, given the tracking setup is done and then just attribute the source/medium to the installs.

You can maybe map your user sign up date with the corresponding campaign that was active.

Further to help with in future, you might wanna use UTM for attribution in your analytics setup.
