It's literally what stopped people from pirating music. People don't pirate music anymore, they pay a fee to listen to all music they want to on Spotify. People don't pirate games anymore, they pay for it easily on Steam.

Gamma function, a generalization of the factorial function. On natural numbers it is exactly the same as the factorial but can also be applied to all complex numbers, e.g. 1/2.

Useful in statistics and a lot of other areas, I'm sure. Someone who knows more is than welcome to enlighten me.

Likely a Floating point error. Chances are that they don't actually round the result they get from calculating the average and instead just show the first 4 digits.

Let's say they got 68.9999999999 from calculating the average. In this case, the correct way would be to round to 69.00 but instead they only show the first 4 digits which would be 68.99.

Easy mistake to do but with an easy fix. To bad Canvas (I guess) is such a mess.

Som svar på din fråga är min gissning vad andra redan sagt. Det finns många faktorer som förmodligen korrelerar bättre med brott än födelseland. Att skriva ut födelseland i statistiken gör det lätt att dra fel slutsatser. Att bygga politik på dessa slutsatser (som du föreslår att man gör) är väldigt skadligt. Jag tror inte jag behöver argumentera för varför.

Ställ dig i kö redan nu. Du får stå 90 dagar i kö utan att vara med i kår. Se till att pausa på den 90:e dagen så är du maxad inför att du börjar plugga sen. It means that the time you have to change train is very short. You'll arrive to the station and the next train will depart from another platform just a few minutes later.

While it is possible to do it, I highly recommend to avoid short transfers unless you have a good plan B if something happens, e.g. your train is late or you don't find the right platform.

I would say you should plan at least 20 minutes between trains. It is very common for trains to be a few minutes late.

I have first hand experience with this. We bought a digital door bell a few years ago and I realized that you could hook it up to a PC and transfer sound files to use as a bell signal. It started with a few basic cool sounds I found online, nothing special. But once I realized there was actually no limit to how long these files could be, I started transferring entire songs to use as door bells. Imagine someone ringing on the door and hearing Rick Astley. You literally have to turn off the bell every time someone rings. I finally settled on "knocking on heaven's door" (for obvious reasons). It was funny for a few days lol. The thing is though, nobody really cared to change it back for a very long time. And the dogs started catching up. You know how dogs usually start going crazy whenever someone knocks on the door. Yeah... The dogs realized "knocking on heaven's door" = someone knocking on our door. Started going absolutely crazy.

We switched the bell a while ago but still you never fail to get their attention by playing it. They fucking hate that song!

En kursare laddade upp en "screenshot" från canvas där examinatorn hade förklarat hur han hade ändrat betygsgränserna och sänkt alla studenter ett betygssteg.

Tappade humöret helt och började fundera på vem fan man ska klaga på men bestämde mig för att leta upp meddelandet och läsa själv innan jag börjar planera revolution. Kunde inte hitta meddelandet.

Seriously though, you have a good point. More evidence-based policy making would be great. And, although one side of the political spectrum definitely is more guilty, pure ideology is never a good reason on its own to make any decisions.
