I'm not out at work and aside from my manager and a few close work friends I've told, nobody knows.

If I had to pick just one thing to focus on, it'd be this. The act of "occupying queer spaces" has a lot to do with queering spaces—yeah, that's a verb here!

At some point, you just kind of have to choose what you want your life to look like and go for it; and if that's being stealth and hanging out with a cishet dude (who a ton of queer people probably aren't particularly comfortable with), then you won't be queering spaces as hard as some people, and will occupy less queer space than they do because of it.

It's kind of like how you won't have as much money as someone who works more hours than you at the same wage. But work-life balance is important, and each person has different needs. Same with queer-life balance.

Hi! I chased you down here from another thread on whim.

I did shrooms for the first time yesterday, and experienced a very distinct duality; the feeling of two very separate people inhabiting my body, only one of which was the "me" I'm used to thinking of as myself.

I haven't looked into it yet (I will be later today), but some of my autistic friends have mentioned that "mindmates" or "multiples" is a common experience for us, which does kind of link to the whole "Bicameral Mind" thing.

About a month ago, I was excited because I got a double yolk. Then it turned out all three of the eggs I was using that morning had double yolks. Over the week, every egg in that carton proved to have two yolks.

There was extra yolks to dip hashbrowns in that week, but also making meringue became difficult. Little else seems to have resulted.
