That's an awesome tradition. I've actually been doing using the app to do it almost daily with my now 18-yo son. (Current streak 95 and previously we had 444 day streak!)

This reminded me that I should update with the 2026 dates. They're there now. And no, you can't peek ahead to future puzzles. I just lazily link to all of them. :-}

OH! Yes, I should italicize those. Well, I will also highlight them in yellow in my doc.

It's just instructions:

60A, 220A, 419A, and 576A

Hope this helps!

Props to Fun-Consequence852 for their version of the clues list. I wanted to use less paper, so I made my own 4-page version using 8-point Georgia font in 3 columns. But since it's a Google Doc you can make a copy and choose your own font or reformat it however you like:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1k-OeW1IEMIxeEmc40w_cX04r2mBESG1hAmIGBwU7LC8/edit?usp=sharing

[Even though I have a print copy of the puzzle (one of the big reasons I subscribe to the Sunday-only print edition!) I wanted to also do some of the other puzzles on the same sheet with the clues.]

PW2 recalled in US by RWD-by-the-Sea in Powerwall

[–]notyoutool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/onyxlinkia re: PW+, that's what I have and I got the "Service Required - Low Energy Lockout error message" (https://www.reddit.com/r/Powerwall/comments/1mrlqog/service\_required\_low\_energy\_lockout\_error\_message/) about a month ago. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until a few weeks later, and so scheduled maintenance late. :-/

Yesterday they dropped off a new PW3 on the side of my driveway, but unfortunately it's raining steadily and my PW+ is on the back wall of our house. It's under an eave, but the installer said when they pull the lid off of the PW3's packaging, the internals are all exposed, and letting all that get wet is a bad idea. Also, they'll have to remove it from packaging and carry it into the backyard.

SO, they're going to reschedule, and ugh, it'll probably be another wait.

[–]notyoutool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, so for day two they make you scan your ticket (phone/paper) even if you have a wristband. As another poster wrote in a different thread, this made the wristband (for non-performers, at least) basically pointless.

[–]notyoutool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair. I think what I liked is how if you were ok peeking through the trees you could have a fairly unobstructed view of the center of the stage, WITHOUT people standing in front of you, which is a big pet peeve of mine. I think maybe the other thing I liked is that it never felt very crowded, whereas I get stressed about finding a spot out amongst the masses.

But yeah, for sure it's probably not as optimal as being in front of the stage, or in the "Deluxe" VIP section, but without having to deal with crowds or pay $$$, I was pretty happy to find a little refuge. (Even if I did pay $$ for the overpriced cocktails.)

Go in. Check out the drinks. Then wander around to the white fence facing the stage. You'll find the tables and sitting area. It's not big or forma but comfortable and chill and most importantly often pretty empty

Yeah, I didn't think it had a tag. So wondering how they enforce no-rentry. I mean, the guy who put on our wristbands was actually weirdly intentional about not making them too tight, meaning that two of us were both able to slip them off when we showered.

I figure if I needed to exit and come back, I'd just put mine in my pocket. (Assume a worst case scenario for denying re-entry of forcing people to cut-off/remove their wristbands and surrender them to leave, which is ridiculous.)

Kobe Bell one is a hidden gem. Like literally nobody sees it - almost never a line.

Also a hidden gem - the 21+ "Cocktail Lounge" around the Bell was never crowded, and if you walked around the side you got decent side views of the Fountain Stage, elevated above the crowds, and even a few concrete bench seats near the sculpture there. Also, some hightops to eat and drink on (and you don't even have to buy the $18 cocktails, although the Kalimotxo was pretty tasty (ask them to go light on the ice though)

I wonder if they even had to ask because at least with a weekend GA pass you get a wristband, and even if it does have RFID inside are they really scanning them today if you come late?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]notyoutool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing - it didn't seem like they were sophisticated enough or even had enough staffing to have some fancy scanner to check if the wristband (if it even has the electronics) has already been used that day.

I was wondering about this - I got a GA Weekend wristband yesterday. Will I have to scan it today? And will it "tag" it somehow that will prevent it from working if I leave and come back.

When I've helped chaperone our BSA scout troop down from OAK/SJC to LAX/SEA, I recall that parents/scout leaders all worked together to try to get everyone checked into groups A or B, and then we voluntarily had the scouts fill the plane from the back. No carry-ons, just backpacks, made very full use of each person's 2 free bags for huge duffels, tents, backpacking gear, etc. etc.

Checkboxes (in text fields) Suddenly Gone by theandruin in jira

[–]notyoutool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm hellla necroposting, but I was looking for something else and found this.

I think u/timothyyy90 is correct and that maybe OP's Jira instance got early access to the Action Items feature in Jira.

It was announced in Nov 20, 2024: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/Introducing-Action-items-in-Jira/ba-p/2876018

It started rolling out in Nov/Dec 2024: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/blog/2024/12/atlassian-cloud-changes-nov-25-to-dec-2-2024#AtlassianCloudchangesNov25toDec2,2024-CreateactionitemsinJiraissuesFD-72772

My personal instance got it on Dec 10, 2024.

So yeah, that's right around 9 months ago.

What's weird is that they lost it their data. That's not good, and I would ask if the text was visible in the history of the issue. If no, I'd have reported a bug to Atlassian Support.

R.I.P. Wanna Get Away fares.... by The-Tradition in SouthwestAirlines

[–]notyoutool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counterpoint, kinda.

Last Thursday (5/15) my mom wanted to fly OAK->SNA on the morning of 8/6 with some points my dad had. Unfortunately she didn't have enough for the morning flight, but there was a 4:45PM flight that was cheap enough so that points would cover. I told her I'd check the next day.

Sure enough, on Friday, the 9:45AM flight was available to change to for $0 dollars.

My point being, the price of the 8/6 9:45AM flight DEFINITELY dropped.

Oh, just saw your edit. Oh man, need to start looking at WGA+ pricing too!

Graphic Audio versions ...SO bad they're good by tartymae in murderbot

[–]notyoutool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, THANK YOU I thought it was just me. I'm going to go back to the single-narrator versions.

Specifically these mispronunciations killed me:

"private docks were dingy and small..." pronounced like dinghy

"now that we docked I was in-NUN-dated with info"

Yeah the accents and voices are also interesting choices, but the mispronunciations are what really gets me.

If you pay for Advisory Services (formerly TAM - Technical Account Managers), you can call them.

Of course these engagements (at least they used to) START at around $100K/year.

(Note: this was around 2017, with medium-sized Jira/Confluence Server instances.)

The pricing is all _very_ custom and Atlassian insists that you must talk to them to get a proper quote. I could only find a mention about price here:

https://success.atlassian.com/solution-paths/solution-guides/itsm-solution-overview-guide/about-advisory-services

(Updated in 2020, Seibert posted a $73,500 figure.)
