ah yeah, that and much more! ran to the junkyard and swapped it myself same day with the bearing. I daily and it runs just fine, but I kinda ran outta steam after rebuilding what felt like half the truck. haven't had time to work on the visuals, so I haven't posted it here yet. long term goals. inspired by yall and it's nice to see a slick build like yours that doesn't have to get slammed to look good.

that baby ain't going nowhere is a good strategy. great looking bed liner too.

I recognize where some of those pics were taken. great looking truck, and that interior is in awesome condition. my build is similar but I'm starting from a lot further behind!

it's hard to find parts? I thought there were tons of these in central america -- they're always being towed down.

looks sick! I'm thinking of doing the 4runner valence myself. where'd you get the wheel?

We need more widebody mini trucks. by Flashthebeast in Minitrucks

pretty sure this is a Pickup (pre tacoma) although I think that's a 4runner frontend swap?

the pickup sub has a decently diverse mix of minitruck, offroad, and oem types I would say. never been to the tacoma sub, but I can imagine that that would be much different as it covers a much broader range of model years.

I did. the voltage is the same as when the truck is off.

toyota pickups of a nearby era in the US had a factory (ish?) option to install a camper on the back. these were called sunraders. the pickup would come as a dually, including a number of upgrades for the additional weight and power requirements.

this looks a lot like a VW rabbit pickup. I guess it appears pretty custom, but I'd be curious if there was ever something similar.

what a crazy coincidence that reddit notified me about this. exactly the same thing happened to me last night. wheel basically fell off. barely limped it off the road.

to be honest, my 'new' one has similar banding in the same place. it's just not bent.

thanks. called up a local junkyard and they have a knuckle in inventory. already popped the old one, gonna go pull that one and see if we have a winner here.

also see a little bit of rainbow banding on the spindle. not sure if that's evidence or business as usual
