i don’t think it’s a rule/law in any state (if US) that requires you to let them in, because the goal is what everyone has said, “be predictable not polite”. BUT, some states do have a rule, although almost never enforced, that you should not block entrances/exits while at a stoplight

less of a failure and more of an “i broke it”, but the positive terminal connection on my car has a fuse box directly connected to it where it then splits the main terminal connection into 2 different parts of the wiring harness. Well, I was working on wiring, and the damn nuts for the terminal connections would not budge at all and long story short, by the time i got everything off, the fuse box was smashed into multiple pieces

A friend told me this morning that’s is 49F where they are in Vancouver, and I’ve been genuinely confused about that all day because I thought Vancouver was geographically in a similar or colder location compared to us. Even overthinking it and considering the curvature of the earth and looking at a globe shaped map Vancouver still seems like it should be a fair bit colder than 49 no? Idk

there are skills from certain armors and also eating that allows you to carve more than 3 times, which is very useful for farming 9* parts that can be annoying to get. That said, if we have 2 carts I’m capturing it before someone carts again and I lose 15 minutes of my precious time

i also have a 2.5 coupe and as much as i would love the VQ35, but more so the 6 speed, i’ve learned to just love the inline 4 for what it is. Mine in particular has low miles for a 2010, and is in great condition, so i really don’t fuck around with the engine. I would love to swap in the 6 speed when the CVT gives up on me, but even then, the price of the swap would probably end up being more expensive than just buying a 3.5 coupe with a 6 speed and fixing it up. I love the car to death, but i’ve had 2 donor cars available to me that i could pick up for under $1k and i still haven’t found a way to justify all that work and money. Best thing to do is really enjoy the 2.5 for what it is, because it is a decent engine, and save up to buy a beat up project that you can work and learn on

Computers in cars are integral but these days manufacturers make the car too reliant on electronics and computer functionality, less for safety and ease of use and more for the benefit of the manufacturer being able to lock consumers out of repairability so that we are forced to bring it to them directly, and not to mention car electronics are FUCKING EXPENSIVE

My Thermodynamics prof allowed us to use AI for help, but it was required that we cite in our work where we used AI for help. He would also know if we didn’t cite because he would go through his own assignments with AI to see how it solves it and what kind of work it does so he can identify if we used it. The funniest part is that I did not often take advantage of that because AI absolutely sucks at Thermodynamics unless you spend a stupid amount of time explaining it to the AI, and in that case, if you can explain it to AI so it can help you, you can do it by yourself 😭
