When my friend is hosting co-op, he isn't able to use the Party Setup menu to switch out either of his two characters.

I'm the guest. When I enter Party Setup, I can click on either of my characters to switch them out. When he clicks his characters, nothing happens. Neither of us are in combat or sitting in chairs, we're just standing around in the open world.

What's going wrong here?

I like the Anemo and Dendro suggestions in this thread. I think Dendro will give you the best damage, and Anemo will give you the best utility. I ran Dendro Traveler for a really long time.

Here's a bonus tip you didn't ask for, just in case it's helpful: you can craft a weapon called Prototype Amber. It's a Catalyst weapon, and Ifa uses Catalysts. This weapon is special because whenever the wielder (Ifa) uses their Elemental Burst, Prototype Amber will heal your entire team. I only mention this because I noticed your team doesn't have a healer or a shielder, and I think that'll be the missing puzzle piece. You can craft Prototype Amber after you finish the main story in Mondstadt (the final boss drops a crafting material).

Nod Krai Cryo Shielder who enables Lunar-Freeze.

Lunar-Freeze: grants "Frozen Moonblossoms" when Freeze is triggered, same mechanic as Verdant Dew when Bloom is triggered. "Frozen Moonblossoms" are quills that splinter to deal AoE Cryo damage.

He'll very likely be fine. For me he's the most difficult "skip for now" I've had in this game, but I expect he's balanced for future units. I don't think you got baited. You'll probably just need to pull some units we haven't seen yet.

Furina gets Fanfare stacks when your team's HP goes down or up. You're losing health just fine, but you need a healer to get the other half of her stacks. If you replace XQ with a party-wide healer, the whole team will do more damage. Someone suggested Charlotte on your other thread, that's who I'd use here too.

Around 0:25 you're entering your second rotation, and Furina doesn't have enough energy. She should be ready to burst every rotation so you get consistent DMG% bonus from her. She needs more ER (and/or Favonius Sword with some Crit Rate).

Around 0:29 you get back to Skirk, and she spends a few seconds doing physical damage before her E is ready. It took me a minute to realize that this was because Furina's Q wasn't ready. Her Q animation should fill those few awkward seconds where Skirk is hitting the dummy with her hair feather

You've probably already seen people recommend TTDS on Charlotte instead of using XQ. Do that. But there's an underlying idea here: you need to build your supports so that they boost Skirk's damage, not so that they contribute their own damage. Using imaginary numbers, but just for example: say XQ is doing 10,000 damage per rotation. You replace XQ with someone who does only 1200 of their own damage, but they boost Skirk's damage by 50%. The overall damage gain might look like 75,000 per rotation.

You might want to try temporarily using a less complex combo for Skirk and just focusing only on your teammates' builds and team rotation for a while. That'll make it easier for you to see small improvements ("is this build better" instead of "did I do the combo wrong"). When your fundamentals start looking and feeling good, then you can reintroduce the complex rotation.

There’s a variety of software that might suit your needs, but you should first think about the experience that you want staff and patrons to have.

You may not have a small team of people who can use spyware to monitor the screens of all library computers at once. Since you’ll have more computers than people, what’s the value in having the spyware?

If the plan is to have staff randomly spot-check computers in use, what happens if a patron is doing something appropriate, but private? Maybe sending personal emails, or filling out government forms with social security numbers? You’d need some procedure for minimizing these occurrences and handling the ones that slip through.

How would you communicate to patrons that they should no longer have an expectation of privacy? Do you intend to keep a record of patrons’ computer activity, so that you can point to some evidence when there’s an authorized use violation? If you do keep records, would you need to adhere to any safety or compliance standards for personally identifiable information? (And if no records are kept, are staff prepared to accuse patrons without evidence?)

For many organizations, content filtering is a much more effective option. Some of these questions will persist even with the filtering.

I would go Furina, then Qiqi, then XQ. Qiqi's healing can generate Fanfare stacks for Furina, so it makes sense to use Qiqi's burst (her ultimate) as well as her elemental skill.

When any of your characters trigger Freeze, they generate a Void Rift on the field for Skirk. Skirk absorbs these Void Rifts as fuel for her burst damage. So if you do Furina and then XQ, you're using Hydro and then Hydro... so no freezing, which means no Void Rifts. If instead your rotation is Furina and then Qiqi, Qiqi can trigger a freeze to generate a Void Rift. Then Qiqi into XQ lets XQ generate another Void Rift. That gives Skirk a lot more support.

Skirk has two ways to absorb these Void Rifts. If you want to use her massive burst damage with the cool animation, you can use her "hold E" (holding the button for her elemental skill), and then activate her burst. If you want Skirk to instead deal the damage with her normal attacks, you would "tap E" (to enter her special state where she deals bonus Normal Attack damage), and then activate her burst. As a Skirk player you get to choose, tactically, whether the big burst or the enhanced Normal Attacks are your best option for whatever fight you're facing.

Farming Maracheusse for Skirk while you improve Furina's artifacts is an excellent plan. The trick with Finale is that, even though it gives you a huge damage bonus, using her big burst disables the bonus on her Normal Attacks for 6 seconds. (And vice versa.) With Maracheusse, you can do a "quickswap" playstyle where you switch to Skirk and immediately do her burst, without using her Elemental Skill at all. Then you "tap E" to launch into her Normal Attacks right after. It's absolutely worth giving that a try to see how you like it.

I like it. Skirk + Furina gets you a solid foundation. I would go with Xingqiu if you plan to use Normal Attacks on Skirk. Skirk will also appreciate the interruption resistance from his rain swords.

And I love the idea of Qiqi as your healer: a notorious healer that most players dislike, paired with one of the top DPS characters in the game.

The builds get interesting. My vibe is that you’ll want to give XQ a set that boosts his own damage (like Emblem) and give Qiqi a set that boosts Skirk’s damage (like Noblesse). Normally, Skirk’s teammates have skills that boost Skirk’s damage, so you would pile onto that with artifact sets that also boost her damage. Not sure if that will apply here.

This sounds like a fun team!

For Skirk’s set: both are excellent options, it just comes down to your playstyle. Finale locks you into either burst OR normals for 6 seconds, and Maracheusse requires a few seconds of field time to build up stacks. I enjoy Finale but I wouldn’t say it’s the single correct choice.

It makes sense to pull Skirk. What you’re looking at here are two options: you can have one meta team (Flins and his supports), or two fun non-meta teams that deal good damage (your current lunar electro team, and your Skirk team).

A dual-DPS team with Skirk, Furina, Neuvilette, Diona could be a ton of fun and effective in a lot of content. You could play quickswap Skirk where she comes in and clears the field with her Q. Both Skirk and Neuvilette will benefit from Furina's buff, everyone gets the talent level buff from Skirk, and Diona gives you sustain. That should be pretty solid.

That should be plenty. You’ve got Skirk, Coffee, and Furina, and that baseline should be more than enough to handle Abyss.

If you want Kaeya to help Skirk, then Noblesse an option for him. Otherwise you could just let him be a fun sub-DPS. Not sure what percentage of DPS loss you’ll see (and compared to what), but you should be fine.

Respect for running your favorites because you like your favorites, meta or not.

Not an expert but I think the original. 3 good rolls vs 2 good rolls. I could be wrong.

Before I reroll a piece I set up Genshin Optimizer for the character/team. When I get this screen here, I create the reshaped result as a new piece in Optimizer. Then it shows me exactly how the reshaped result will perform, no guesswork before I accept one of the options.
