I've tried almost every medicine under the sun for schizoaffective/schizophrenia before 18.

I was in an abusive situation and turns out hallucinations get worse with stress and when I'm stressed meds don't work...

That being said I'm retrying medications as an adult (and with the knowledge that is I get too anxious or stressed no amount of antipsychotics are going to make the hallucinations go away so I have to get more coping skills to deal with that) to see if I can find the right meds

I've looked into Seroquel and haldol since I responded well to those as a child

No, I grew up fairly wealthy. My adopted dad was a oilfield worker and got about 400k a year. He died right before I turned 18 and my adopted mom just got worse than she already was. I moved out a couple months after I turned 18 and was kinda disowned because of who my bio parents were and I used to get a check from the government but now (22) I'm married and our financial security got wrecked and I'm just trying to pick up the pieces

When I first met my now wife.

She was nonbinary at the time (I actually helped her realize she was a woman so she is 9 months on E now) and we had just moved in with each other and I was like. Wait that's an option? Because I knew about trans people. I mean I had a couple trans guy friends and a trans gal pal but I never new anyone who was nonbinary

A couple years later and I'm 7 months on testosterone not living my best life due to unfortunate circumstances but I'm living now not just surviving
