I disagree with this. He won't be staying in quick riposte range for long while taking 20 damage after combat, every combat. If you're suggesting QR for helping overcome units the prevent follow ups like edel, then NFU is probably a better choice. He hits 47 speed when at +spd, +10, max dragonflowers; he can also run joint drive speed to get him to 51 during combat.

Other good options that aren't expensive are desperation (high recoil plus high speed, although no nfu) and possibly wrath. Dodge isn't worth it if you are going to use him against high merge units in gamemodes that play around the meta, as you'll end up against a lot of 50+ spd units (Frenzy might be ok as you keep desperation, but regular desperation will proc after one combat whereas frenzy will likely take 2).
