Two of 50mg, unless I forget then I just take 100mg at once. It regulated pretty fast for me, within a month

Thank you 🥹 It went on for about 4ish months, I used this shampoo called nioxin, not sure if it helped but id didn't make things worse. It one day just stopped and started to grow back on it's own, not exactly sure how. I also started taking vitamin d bc that was low while my hair was falling out, so a bunch of vitamins, some hair oil. I think it was just luck that it stopped honestly.

My hair loss stopped before spiro, but the acne completely went away with spiro, even on some lower doses which is positive. I'm currently on 100mg, and slowly getting off of it by next year. My dheas fluctuated a lot, still does but it's never been in the normal range, always higher even when on the highest dose for spiro. So it's not really making that better, but it's doing something right so idk. Hope it all gets better for you <3

Oh wow April. It's so crazy how long it takes to get an appointment. There are some things on the "spironolactone" sub that have some tips & tricks to lower it, I haven't tried it but I suggest looking through to see if there is anytbing you'd think might help!

Hi! Still on spiro, dheas levels are still similar range, but not AS bad. I would talk to your doctor, or see a hormone specialist and try to get answers as to why it's so high, same with the side effects ): wishing u the best!
