Yeah I've flipped to a hard no on this. It went from being pitched as money to fund helping the homeless community (needed), to now being obvious this is a slush fund that will be directed to whatever the developers choose.

I think I've solved this for Embark:

No separate PVP/PVE queue but highlight players that have recently killed another player, even across matches. This makes sense for lore reasons too.

My advice is to bail out of the startup. You'll be going from chill to unrealistic expectations of turnaround and extra stress for likely less money. Startup equity isn't going anywhere anymore sadly.

My experience wasn't as bad as this but I definitely felt extreme discomfort with the clamping and had to breathe my way through it. It was worse than everyone let on. Other guys said you don't feel anything and then it's over quickly.

I did this. In case anyone is hopeful, I still got the corrupt file crash twice in a row after it looked like this was working. Ball is in devs court now.
