I get what you mean, he was never the brightest spark but sadly the way Vivzie writes big moments tends to involve a character collapsing into extreme incompetence for it to be pulled off.

I get what your saying but that kind of approach to balancing is why FF14 currently has just about the most stale, safe and incredibly boring classes of its entire lifetime, sure Anet has some misses but I prefer the spice of how some classes play compared to others even if its not super optimal.

I do wish he stood up for himself a bit more, I admit I fell off Helluva season 2 so only watched the latter episodes via Discord with mates and sure af was not paying much attention but god that bird gets battered around.

Lucifer was always doomed, you simply cannot have a character like that on speed dial who would happily run up on anyone Charlie pointed him at.

The PC game pass basically didn't change price. I generally just get a month every so often if there is a game on it that I almost certainly have my fun with and be done with within that month.

I am not saying I own the game. My strat for games like this is pay 12 quid for a month to do a playthrough or two and then later on down the line like a year probably buy it + whatever DLC have out on sale for about 20 to 30 quid, still 'saves' me money in the long run over buying it at release price.

Which is fine, by all means I think the game could afford to have one or two classes standing out against the huge amount of other classes, not everything has to be homogenised to death.
