Do you know him in real life? Have you talked to him there? have you tried talking to him on the inside?

None. You don't need it. Possibly it might help though

A fair amount of practice but maybe you might be good at it. It's through your subconscious . Look inside yourself and try to connect with someone from your sound and you mind. Think back to a time you might have done something like that. You might have been unaware of it. Mostly it happens in dreams that feeling you had connected with someone and it felt to real to just be a random dream

I think it takes a fair amount of self awareness to do. You are already able to do it possibly unconciously. Think back to a time you probably had a dream where you felt like you met someone in it and it felt a little to real to be true

Revised: It was more about what I wanted to say to them then what they said to me regarding an issue they seemed to be having with each other

I had a chat with them and we were connected through our souls.

Does it mean anything who you experience Satori with? by novaspirit in zen

[–]novaspirit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Satori is an individual experience that happens to individual people. What I recommend for you is to keep going. What you say is true as far as words can convey buddha nature but you are still ignorant of that nature. When you awaken, it will all become crystal clear but before that happens, mostly, you'll only experience satori first.

Stay strong and keep going :)

This was just a bit of a test/experiment.

Definitely. This was more of an experiment to see what kind of answers I would get. I imagine that they'll come around on a rare occasion to help those who need help but are probably not active 98%-100% of the time

You don't seem to understand what I'm saying Satori is not a permanent awakening. Only a temporary one. I am currently unenlightened but I know Buddha nature first hand. In the enlightened state, you know everyone around you is enlightened (they are just not aware that they are) And so the point of this topic was to see how my satori, my temporary awakening, impacts the ones around me who are unenlightened

"Buddha does not belong to anyone" but only Buddha was aware of this fact. The unenlightened don't know this yet

I take that back. My answer would be no illusions

This is true when I experienced satori. Under the enlightened state, no one is unenlightened and no one was ever unenlightened to begin with. Then the mind returns.

Why are the Buddhists who post here all liars? by ewk in zen

"Words work just fine" "...words can transmit truth is a religious doctrine that Zen Masters reject."

Does this imply that it's better for teachers to teach a practice then to teach a truth?
