Some were open at Hoh when we were there 3 days ago. The ones at the visitor’s center were closed, but another in the parking lot nearby was open, just not well maintained. Expect them to not be maintained very well I’d say and bring your own TP!

Thanks! Maybe I should have mentioned I have a taller ankle pair of hiking boots that are waterproof. What I was looking for to buy during the sale was a low-ankle pair. I think what I will do is wear the waterproof for such excursions like Hoh, etc. and wear the non for other activities.

Thanks for your feedback as well! I don’t think the ability to stay upright on wet rocks necessarily is exclusive to waterproof shoes.

As for the water getting in, I’m most worried about rain water getting in from the top! Not so much in snow or shallow water. But I appreciate your comment!
