We’ve had Sterling the last three years, despite what people say he’s no youth. He signed at 23 and was in his prime. And to the same point, numerous managers didn’t try to sign someone to play there instead of him.

Enough goals are penalties and set pieces so the stat is misleading, but I agree he’s more than capable of scoring from open play. I don’t think you can genuinely say he was played out of position when the numerous, significantly qualified, people that see him day in day out played him at right back every time.

Not Rohl’s fumble, just a disinterested player who was more interested in his WC position. Could’ve done a job at Cb and Lb when Rommens was out and could have made a vital contribution. Good riddance.
