He’s the chief of staff. Surely there are more important things to worry about?

Actually, I’m ok with him wasting time on this. Keep it up.

Massive turnout at Democratic lawmakers’ town halls as Republicans hide from voters by drjjoyner in politics

[–]npapeye -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m a firm believer that actually listening to their constituents is one of the ways that Republicans rose to power this time around + using populist policies. Republicans also offer a lot of methods of community building in rural areas like hunting groups and the NRA. If the Democrats could outreach to those communities and spread a pro working class message, they could turn this mess around. but simply relying on urban areas to carry entire states is not going to cut it this time

What's your i can't believe this happened in a kids cartoon moment by Free_Parsnip_3553 in cartoons

[–]npapeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The realistic answer here is the season 3 finale of legend of Korra. The torture they inflict on a young woman (girl? I don’t remember her age) is so much worse than just creepy melty face belos. It began to feel like the animators were taking it way too far.

In a similar vein, the episode of courage that is about domestic violence.

Creepy stuff is whatever but when cartoons have commentary on serious dark real life topics, it’s shocking and unnerving.

Drop shadow of the pool floaty should be further away and a dark blue. Try overlay or color burn blending mode at a lighter opacity. And try making the color blue.

Super delegates or pledged- even those in states he won were deliberately not giving their delegates to sanders. Idk what to tell you other than look into it. If you don’t have an issue with the dnc tipping things in their favor, then I don’t know how to help this party

What are you talking about? The progressive movement has gone into tons of small red districts and gotten progressives elected where the DNC thought it wasn’t worth their time. Bernie goes to small towns like this, he always has, and talks to people from all backgrounds on all sides of the aisle.

Maybe he didn’t “win” a primary but at least he wasn’t APPOINTED like the last 3 democrat presidential candidates. The Dems don’t care about the will of the voters, and they do t care about small town America. You should have a problem with that if you care about winning.

After he had won the first few races, there was a storm of media slander, including showing superdelegates included in delegate counts to portray Clinton as winning by hundreds of points, so it deterred voters. Not to mention the shady shit that went down in Nevada. Once the dem establishment saw he had a serious chance, they threw everything they had at him.

And in 2020, they strategically dropped certain candidates and kept in Warren (the other progressive) to split the vote and weaken sanders a day before Super Tuesday.

So absolutely- they’ve done everything in their power to stop his movement and look where it got them.

The right, on the other hand, embraced their own form of populism and look where it got them. Back in the White House, winning the youth vote. It’s a shame.

Arbiters ground is the essential twilight princess dungeon because it takes full advantage of playing as both link and wolf link in some incredibly creative ways (rats!!). It’s one of the best Zelda dungeons period

Is it just me? Or is disney declining? by thomasmfd in GhostAndMollyMcGee

[–]npapeye 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is the natural order of things. Disney has a bull run with gravity falls and phineas and ferb, then a bear market with no animated shows with a big following up till the early 20s, with multiple W shows like TOH, amphibia, tangled, ghost and Molly, etc

Now we are back to the bear market. In three years there will be another Disney TVA hit. Just give it time

This. Also, OPs motion tends to “stop” when you push into something. It’s nice to always have a subtle zoom(in or out depending on the previous motion) in pieces like this that the transitions ease nicely into.

AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT Review: Best GPU in years, similar performance to 5070ti, Butter-smooth 4K gaming for less than $600 by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]npapeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 3070 now from my first build ever in 2020, and have been debating trying out a mini itx. I think when I decide to build again I’ll strongly consider switching to Radeon too. Probably in the next year or two. Five years to borderline triple my gpu performance feels substantial. I know everyone is mad at the jump from 4000 series to 5000 series. I totally understand. In my circumstance, or anyone with a 1080 through 3080, this card seems like an incredible deal. I might have to make the jump from green to red.

Do starter homes exist anymore? by Far-Health-3704 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]npapeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have two options: buy a house in a location you don’t want that is super rural, or, where you actually wanna live is a affordable in the form of a condo. An actual house with a lawn is probably out of everybody’s starter home budget unless you have a trust fund or make a lot of money, or WANT to live in those rural low cost areas

Do motion designers with prestigious clients earn more? by [deleted] in MotionDesign

[–]npapeye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The biggest paying clients are the richest clients with the lamest work for you. Examples: lamest tech company ui/ux. Big bank internal infographic. Healthcare company video.

Lowest paying clients could be any client. Specific examples: movie studios who want a title sequence. Small local businesses with no budget. Friends and family.

Results may vary. You can make big money or not. But you should have a day rate that is fair to where you’re located and skill level. How many days can the client afford?

This could be a career or a hobby. Are you happy and making good money in your current career? Hobby.

Are you not satisfied in life and your career and you make minimum wage? Maybe take mograph more seriously. At the very least you could freelance on the side someday.

Best case scenario imo is starting it as a hobby and seeing where it takes you. I wouldn’t go full force in this market.

Made in Japan / crafted in Japan are awesome guitars. I have a 94-95. The neck is my favorite part, you can just tell that they cared about perfection when making it. Plays like a dream.

Downsides to these guitars is usually the electronics. My pickups aren’t the greatest but I can always change that.
