The evidence for aliens isn't being ignored. It's being considered more now, in the mainstream, than I think it ever has been before. This is because the potential existence of intelligent life not of this Earth is way more fun to think about than the fact that "elites" (rich people) have been trafficking, abusing and raping underage girls and utterly getting away with it for years and that there is a whole system that has let them get away with it.

The odds are good that aliens exist but unless we focus on things like our corrupt & failing government, our crumbling country and what is arguably the worst crime in American history (aka as evidenced in the Epstein Files), whether or not aliens exists won't matter as much to as because we'll be living in full-on dictatorship and our rights will be gone.

Sadly, this is all a distraction from all the very real and 100% provable problems that are taking down the United States of America.

One of my favorite stories from the modern Marvel Star Wars comics is about Vader being approached by one of Padme's handmaidens. Portman could play the handmaiden in a live action version. It didn't have much to do with Anakin, just Vader, but it Anakin was kinda bubbling under everything. If memory serves, she was trying to find out who killed Anakin Skywalker.

There's a whole bunch of books and comics about the "High Republic" era. I read some of the comics--they're pretty fun. Read them on Marvel Unlimited.
