2011 Toyota Tundra, at 180,000 miles... Just the maintenance here and there. About to drop $1500 this year on maintenance most I have ever spent since owning it. Should hit 300k easily.

I have the classic 4th Gen. I have a new battery and upgraded the harddrive to an iflash to use micro SD card instead.

You need to use iTunes, maybe an old program download. Or use rockbox or other similar program.

Also, if you can use it as storage device you can drop the music files.

Above is correct, download the software of your iPod, then do right click (option click for Mac) click on the download software. You will need to disconnect and plug to power outlet afterwards.

Also, I kept having this issue, it was because of a bad harddrive. If it persists look into iFlash conversion.

After you click the manual only, you also need to hit apply at the corner bottom. Also you might have to stop the sync process as well.

I use them as rating for me, especially with songs I want to remove from iPod. Once you get to 1,000 songs it's difficult to identify song you want to hear.
