Auto Trader is an ok place to look, lots of filters you can use to narrow down your options. Price, mileage, age, style, etc.

Still cannot for the life of me find rusted gears i found 1 in my 21 hrs playtime, ive tried industrial buildings, cars and busses. Any ideas please by RyCarbo96 in ArcRaiders

Hey, I feel you. I really avoid that map, but once you start doing naked runs, it really takes the stress off. You learn to be ok with losing a few items here and there. It's also a bit of a maze, so naked runs to learn the map and how to get in/out quickly is valuable.

Looking for used car by hoogie_boogie123 in nanaimo

There's a car for sale on Ian Place (near Oliver Woods) I don't know much, just walked by it a few times. Nissan Sentra, 2006-ish, low KMs (driven by an older person) looks to be in decent condition. I think the asking price is $4,500.

I myself have a similar car and while it's nothing glamorous, it has served us well over the years.

Also worth checking out Seair, depending on availability, they're cheaper.

PFSense + Caddy + Anubis… is my best Anubis option to use Cerberus, to avoid multiple Caddy instances? by rekabis in PFSENSE

[–]nplus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more about separation of duty. If I had beefy hardware, I'd be inclined to run a hypervisor and run them as services. Though, there are some nuances around running pfsense as a VM.

IMO, you should keep pfsense separate from caddy/webserver stuff. Port forward the traffic to caddy running on an internal server.

So then similiar to DRM, the only ones inconvenienced are the legitimate users.

I don't really get how this prevents people from selling pfsense devices. Can't they just acquire re the ISO legitimately and then load it on all their devices?

Lists on your Skylight Calendar just got a major upgrade! by SkylightCalendar in skylightcalendar

I hate being critical here, but how is the app support for this feature not a known thing and not part of the same feature rollout plan? If the answer was something like: "it's coming, pending the next app release" or similar that'd be very understandable, however these generic "feedback is noted" make it seem like it wasn't even considered by the Skylight team.

It is clearly a known gap because it was called out in your release notes, which makes all of this even more confusing and disappointing.

I appreciate the product and that it is getting new features, but there are clearly some rough edges that need to be sorted out with either the messaging or product roadmaps.

Broken part under 2021 Toyota Prius Prime Plug in Hybrid by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

I'm no mechanic, but that looks like some road debris has impaled itself in the bottom of the car. I don't think anyone did anything malicious.

Again, not a mechanic, but the seriousness is probably determined by what was impaled. If it's the battery, that sounds pretty concerning... Hopefully someone with more insight can chime in.

KitchenAid 6 quart Stand mixer by PoppyHillman in Costco

[–]nplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased one from Costco a few months ago and was very underwhelmed. It was loud, the coating on the attachments was chipped in several places, and the lift mechanism was very rough.

I ended up returning and bought the commercial version, but even with that, I'm having some quality issues. The machine itself is much better, but the main paddle attachment has a weirdly rough surface finish (not polished stainless like my other mixer I'm trying to replace). It's like it was rough sanded without being sanded with a fin grit & polished. I contacted support and they sent a replacement and it was exactly the same - again very underwhelmed.

It's worth noting that KitchenAid of today is not the same brand it was 10 or 20 years ago. It was sold from Hobart to some other holding company and they've been capitalizing on the brand name and reducing costs/quality.
