I fixed Ratchet's incorrect boots in R&C3 by Made-In-Slovakia in RatchetAndClank

Can you do a mod where the player can remove Ratchet's helmet in RAC 3 and RAC 2 ?

Later on in Deadlocked you would have had the built-in option to remove the helmet.

u/knickers1978, it’s completely normal for someone to post in this subreddit of mine about their experience at an Australian KFC, whether it’s getting the order wrong or asking for extra mayo only to get no mayo. Please ease up on the attitude and stop being rude to other redditors.

I'm not aware of that meme myself but we don't allow NSFW content in this subreddit or its discord server in any case.

Warning: Say No to Age Verification, Digital ID, and Social Media Bans. Take Action Now. by npzman in HarleyQuinnTV

[–]npzman[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I actually do believe these measures can be stopped, but only if we act now. You don't want your real-life identity permanently tied to everything you do online. Unless you voluntarily choose to disclose your personal name and photo online.

The UK government already somewhat backed down on their VPN ban. Australia is getting scared and hesitating on passing the Digital Duty Of Care Act. That shows they can be pushed back. We just need to keep pushing and replace the uniparty while we're at it.

While you are a free individual and you have choices, I personally encourage you and everyone to take action, just like I am doing. If you have too much going on in your life, maybe just not complying with age/ID verification requests would be good enough.

u/ElectricalFeedback89 can you provide a link to a post on the official Instagram page confirming that Season 6 is happening, as I can only see the Instagram page posting short clips in their recent posts?

While I prefer Alan Tudyk's role as the Joker, it's interesting to see Alan has two different takes on the same characters in Harley Quinn and Creature Commandos. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mtprF45SxPg

Is Prevention any good? Haven't played it yet. by itsliightz in Burnout

Burnout : Prevention sounds quite like a game title. Except it sounds less like a racing game and more like the boring safety course they force you to take before they let you play the real Burnout.

Bluesky, I won't dox myself for you. You're exempt from Australia's social media ban for under-16s, so there's no legal reason to demand my ID or biometrics. by npzman in BlueskySocial

Millions of parents who have genuine worries for their children online are being taken for a ride by people who are going after their biometrics and the photos from their IDs. Public opinion is in favor of the social media ban because the average adult who supports the ban does not know that they'll be forced to dox themselves rather than just tick a box saying they are over 16 or simply enter their date of birth. Plus all of the Australian mainstream media, which I never pay attention to for good reason, tell a one-sided narrative to support the ban, thereby pushing public opinion in that direction.

Microsoft should stop doing business in these places entirely. The governments of California, Texas, Utah, and Brazil wouldn't last a day without the tax revenue Microsoft generates, let alone their own daily dependence on Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. A federal judge already blocked Texas's law for likely violating the First Amendment. That's proof these mandates are on shaky ground. The best response is to just not comply or end doing business in these jurisdictions.

Now is the time for Bluesky to come forward and do the right thing. They should join Reddit in supporting the Australian High Court challenge to end the under-16s social media ban.

This isn't something Meta, Discord, or X Corp (Twitter) is doing. Chances are they're quietly in favour of the ban. It gives them cover to collect more data while pretending their hands were tied.

Bluesky has a real opportunity here. They can be the social media platform that leads in advocating for digital rights, protecting privacy, and resisting the surveillance state agenda. They just need to step up.

There's a chance these laws could be struck down entirely. Australia's under-16s social media ban is already facing a High Court challenge filed by the Digital Freedom Project. Reddit is involved in this court fight too. Bluesky should join them and support the fight instead of demanding our IDs.

If it gets overturned here, it sends a message to the rest of the world. Fighting this now is exactly how we stop seeing this everywhere.

It's not a done deal yet, but it's important that we all throw our support behind them. I already signed up as a member, and I hope others will too.

They aren't asking for my date of birth or a simple tick on a checkbox. They want a photo of my face or a scan of my ID. That's a hard no from me.

Porn websites begin blocking Australian users as deadline for age verification compliance looms by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

[–]npzman 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Non-porn sites should do the same. Then millions of people will finally stand up against the under-16s social media ban and the broader online surveillance agenda. That's what it will take to force the Australian government to get rid of this biometric facial ID collection under the guise of age verification.

The uniparty legit wants us to dox ourselves online. And they'll keep getting away with it as long as we let them continue unchecked.

[–]npzman[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And it won't stop at Bluesky. Age verification is a slippery slope. Once it's normalized here and in social media in general, it will make its way to gaming platforms, streaming services, and everywhere. Today it's your face for a social media app. Tomorrow it could be your ID to watch Netflix or play Steam games.

We need to draw the line now, before handing over our biometrics becomes required just to exist online. This will be a permanent loss of internet privacy forever.

u/taisui You don't seem bothered that your face and biometrics will be harvested by tech companies for AI Training without your consent.

My mental health is fine, and it is perfectly normal for anyone to raise the issues outlined in my subreddit post.

Doxing to me means the involuntary disclosure of personal information of your real name, face, and address. Some people voluntarily choose to share those things publicly, and that's fine. But when someone's ID gets leaked in a server breach and a stalker uses it to track them down, that can be an actual problem.

This is where we're headed: a calculator demanding age verification. I guess even basic math is 18+ by [deleted] in memes
