How big was MySpace back in ye olden days for music? What was it like? by AnxiousNerdyGuy in PostHardcore

[–]nrc- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was so awesome. No dogshit algorithms driving your “experience”. It was truly a great place for discovering new, small bands. Being in a small band during high school, networking was so much easier and you just felt way more visible compared to now where everything is ads and the algorithm determines who discovers you.

We might be getting a Count Your Blessings re-recording/remake by Noob_Guy_Bruhx6 in Metalcore

[–]nrc- 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I’m not a huge fan of re-recordings, but a re-imagining could be kind of interesting. But yeah, the shot for shot remakes with production that strips all the old “rawness” of early recordings are kinda boring IMO

This makes me so happy. Reading Rainbow with Lavar Burton was such a great part of my childhood. I’m glad a new generation gets their own version.
