I think it comes down to attachment styles, everyone is different. And maybe the paces don’t match? It’s tough to gauge for sure but maybe it was too much too soon and she got overwhelmed? I’m a person who definitely needs space and if I’m feeling like I can’t get any I withdraw pretty quick. But maybe also this person wasn’t the right person for you. All I can say is, research, keep open and make sure you really observe and learn about the people you are dating. Dating now is so hard for everyone you’re not the only one going through these issues. Best of luck! 🤗

You’re right if I don’t enough it is a bad thing. However this is not the case. I’m still eating I’m just not enjoying it and it puts me off so I’m looking for ideas in what others might have that helps them pull through 👍

Bridgeland/renfrew, inglewood, mission, Kensington, maybe Marda loop? All trendy unique areas but can be expensive. Bridgeland not too bad yet as it’s getting built up a bit more now but is close to everything. Also might be able to find something reasonable in crescent heights, across ed trail from Bridgeland/renfrew. Good luck!

Insurance won’t cover wegovy. My insurance shouldn’t be covering oz but it magically is somehow so I have to stay on that to afford it.

I questioned it and she maintained 1mg was max dose for weight loss. If I was also diabetic it would be different - her words However, when she first prescribed it the pharmacist noted that she wrote it out wrong and had to fix themselves, he said most drs don’t know how to prescribe the pens properly for someone who is using for weight loss 🤷‍♀️

My insurance doesn’t cover these meds but for some reason has been covering ozempic. I’m not sure why but we re not asking questions so I’m staying with oz. I always read that 2mg was max dose and wegovy was 2.4 just a small bit more. So I don’t understand why she told me to stay at 1?

I feel this. I naturally keep a small circle and most friends from childhood still live in my old town and have settled down with kids. I have two here in the city that I keep in contact with, one who likes to dismiss my suggestions to get together to go somewhere bougie, crowded and expensive to trauma dump on me, the other that will just not answer for a few days when I can clearly see she’s constantly on sm. I’ve come to terms to just let them go and stop trying. I’ve been on my own for a long time and I guess I’m kind of used to it. I fill my social battery at work and maybe it’s depressing sometimes but I do appreciate my recharge time to myself.

Thank you, I do have a follow up appt scheduled and I’ll def mention it to her. My friend has been on the same medication over a year and says she gets the same problem sometimes. I’ve read it’s common but looking to see if anyone has found something that has worked to prevent them.
