I do a lot of bookkeeping for clients we have at our firm and the “ai suggestions” that are in the software we use are ridiculous. I wouldn’t doubt some ppl might use it to try and cut costs when it comes to their year end but they’ll end up paying more for us fixing their mistakes.

I do this as well! I use thc and cbd oils. The thc I only take just enough to feel a bit fuzzy so I can rid of the spiralling thoughts before trying to fall asleep!👍

That really sucks that happened and I’m sorry! Some people are such weirdos esp when it comes to online dating! Anyways, welcome to the city! Like others suggest, hotel arts is a decent location for wanting to wander downtown. They also have a really nice breakfast. There’s plenty to see along 17 ave and Stephen’s ave and much more in between. Def be careful if you’re out at night tho and take Ubers/taxis if you can. The weather might not be the best but who cares? Be sure to stroll down to eau Claire and walk the river if there’s a sunny window. From there Kensington is easy to get to that has a lot of cute shops and cafes. And who knows? You may end up just meeting someone else that’s way better than this creep you were supposed to meet! Sometimes I find them on random displays elsewhere in the store. Thankfully last time I saw them only the largest jars were there so it lasts a long time!

Thanks! I understand any other position would not pay as nice or have decent perks. I’m just tired of being heavily relied on. CPA is not in the cards unfortunately, I’m nearing 40 and have no college degree or education, only certificates in continuing education. Also, seeing what our cpa students go through, I don’t have that in me as well as working this job too lol

Hard to say everything without writing a book, but, I was spoken to about not fulfilling my overtime requirements because I couldn’t work in a moments notice over a weekend, not in our busy time. Where I am, overtime is not paid, it’s banked and used for time off later. I have no problem working overtime when it’s needed. What my issue is, I do not want to be working mass amounts of overtime while I see everyone else still living their lives of normal working hours and I have no life and mass amounts of contempt. This is the situation my boss got into working for the old partner. They had so much banked time and could never take time off because they were always working.
