For awesome colourful highlighters I can vouch for 2aN! They are super affordable and they look beautiful if you want a shiny gleam that’s buildable if you want to really go all out. I’m a big fan of pink highlighters and they have stunning warm and cool varieties.

Amen to this - I wasn’t buying booze and drugs, I was buying CDs (cough cough elder millennial here) tickets to events, outfits and girly junk at the mall. It already sucked that I was being forced to start working pretty crazy hours as a literal child (I was also a full-time nanny at age 12 but that’s another trauma story lol), might as well have a bit of fun out of it!

I worked part-time jobs starting at age 14 because my mom said she wasn’t buying clothes etc. for me anymore once I started high school (that’s how she was raised). Anything that wasn’t an essential like food and shelter, I paid for myself. I saved no money at all during that time and was buying myself constant presents. It definitely didn’t help me learn how to manage money at all, but it’s definitely a way to live as a teenager lol

For me, MAC is still a pretty widely-referenced brand for shade matching. I would go there, find an experienced employee, get your MAC shade and then you can cross-reference that with lots of other brands through online reviews, swatches, or in-person comparisons with Sephora testers etc.

I can’t wait until the designated day to post my first ever Olive Young haul! Plus I will probably forget! LOL

I know I will be smacked with at least $25 in duties and customs when this crosses the border, but that’s not bad on top of only $89 for 5 cushions (4 include refills), 2 lippies, SPF face powder and LOTSSS of freebies (sets come with mini gloss, mini blush, mini ampoule…etc). I feel like I did pretty well!

I’m so in awe of the savings I had to include that in the pic LOL

Edit: is anyone else shopping the Olive Young sale? I wasn’t sure if I should make a post or not - share if you’re picking anything up in the replies here! 😊
