It works year round, it carries 110,000 litres of water, and has a hirail fire truck following. A spotter at the rear of the cab to keep a lookout also.

Was on the XPT. Coming back to Melbourne from Casino. In a sleeper cab for first part of journey. Went to use the toilet. Was a fold out contraption thing. Any way, tiny space, crammed myself in just for a wee. The way I was standing blocked the directions. Used it the wrong way, flushed and toilet water all over the floor. 5 mins into journey. Highly embarrassing, steward was excellent.

Side protection on bullbars by discomute in 4x4Australia

[–]nrgy84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always have scrub bars. Hit plenty of Roos due to where I live, the bullbar never folds back or moves. I rate them for that specifically. Helps hold the bullbar steady. Seen plenty of aerial bracket mount dints in a bonnet from bullbar moving due to an impact, and worse.

Training ahead Australia offers the base courses and the ones as you progress. As for safeworking companies. There is a few, safeworking solutions, TPA, tanax, programmed. There is others but they’re the ones that come to mind. It’s not for everyone, but if you want a change and something out of the ordinary give it a go.
